Kay Kuzma and her husband, Jan, have
always been interested in family, education and health work.
Dr. Kay (as she is known to most) received her masters in child development
from Michigan State University and a doctorate in early childhood education
from UCLA. She is a popular Christian family motivational speaker, author of
many books, columnist and media personality. Dr. Jan
(pronounced Yawn--he's Polish), has his MSPH in biostatistics from Columbia
University and a Ph.D. in biostatistics from the University of Michigan.
They started their careers at UCLA and then spent 27 years teaching and
doing research at Loma Linda University in Southern California before moving
to Tennessee. In 1982 they established Family Matters, primarily a media
ministry (corporate title: Parent Scene) and in 1999 they launched Family
Matters Ministry with a broader mission for family outreach, fellowship and
service. |
